European Investors-VEB, is an independent organisation since 1924. European Investors-VEB is an active organisation with a broad-based membership which defends the interests of retail and institutional investors in the public debate, but also in connection with financial product providers, listed companies and supervising authorities. European Investors-VEB also is the most important source of independent information on investments in Europe.

European Investors - VEB regularly delivers opinions about issues concerning the position of shareholders and investors, carries out research and arranges for proxy representation of members at the various national annual general meetings of listed companies in The Netherlands and across Europe.
European Investors - VEB always gives feedback to relevant consultations organised by national governments as well as the European Commission and comments on their draft laws and regulations.
European Investors - VEB also provides feedback on the proposals of national and European regulators concerning regulatory rules regarding corporate governance, financial markets, investment firms and investor & consumer protection.
European Investors - VEB has been represented at various (round table) conferences organised by the Dutch Ministeries of Justice, Finance ans similar gorvernment bodies in other EU memberstates, the European Commission or European Parliament, the European Securities and Market Authority (ESMA), the Joint European Supervisory Bodies (ESAs) and national competent Authorities for the financial markets. European Investors - VEB is also represented in ESMA Stakeholder Group, ESMA CWGs on 'Investor Protection and Intermediaries' and 'Corporate Finance' as well as AFM's Capital Markets Commission and AFM's Advisory Panel.
