    Goals / Remit

    The European Retail Financial Forum (ERFF) is a pan-European, consumer-focused platform, launched in the European Parliament in October 2015.

    ERFF brings together, through our meetings and events, consumers, business and policymakers to support the opening up of retail financial markets in Europe.

    ERFF’s main objectives are to provide an informal platform where all stakeholders, consumers, business (incumbents and newcomers) and policymakers, can meet, discuss, inform, share experiences, find solutions and build trust, relationships and consensus around the EU retail financial services policy agenda including CMU, FinTech and Sustainable Finance.

    Main EU files targeted

    EU policy and legislation on retail financial services including CMU, FinTech and Sustainable Finance.

    Retail/consumer aspects of key legislation eg MiFID, Consumer Credit and, Distance Marketing Directives.

    Relevant EU policies on AI, data and digitalisation.
