    Goals / Remit

    ExportUSA SPRL is located in Brussels, under Belgian Law, as the institutional branch of the American headquarter ExportUSA. Our Brussels’ Office has been established on the principle that EU-US relations on trade issues could be supported and therefore fostered. We want to encourage the definition of a new political framework for the international trade between Europe and America by shaping debates with the European Institutions, participating as Partners to International Projects Co Founded by the European Union to share knowledge, experience, challenges, threats, best practices and also bad ones.
    ExportUSA SPRL is ready to work with Public Organizations and Bodies of different nature at International, European, National and Regional level for proposing solutions and related actions about the main Euro – American trade challenges.

    ExportUSA is proactively requesting to be included within the transparency register in preparation of any work that we might carry out at EU Level

    ExportUSA joins several debates in Brussels to raise awareness of the importance of the US market for EU SMEs. One of the working groups that the company is starting to collaborate with is the "Americans for Tax Reforms" Think Tank.

    Moreover, ExportUSA collaborates with the Vallonian Trade and Export Agency AWEX to train the Vallonian based companies on how to successfully export in the US Market.

    Communication activities

    In the month of March, ExportUSA organized 2 Public Hearings at the European Parliament:

    - Il Commercio Internazionale Nell'Europa di Oggi e di Domani. In collaboration with the EPP Party and Mr. Salvatore CICU MEP

    - EU - US Tourism Relation: cultural similarities and differences in the hospitality sector. Along with Ms. Rosa Estaras Ferragut MEP

    - On March the 2nd 2020, ExportUSA organized the High-Level Debate "Updating the EU-US Trade Dialogue" at the European Parliament. The event, in collaboration with BECI - the Brussels Chamber of Commerce - was supported by Mr. Jorge Warborn (MEP). Aim of the initiative was to illustrate the recent EU-US Trade developments.

    - On. July 8th, ExportUSA organized the High-Level web conference "the Future of 5G: International Competition without Tariffs" an initiative in collaboration with the ECR Party as well as the EPP Group. Aim of the event was to illustrate the most pressing 5G related challenges and the repercussions on Trade.
