The Future of Life Institute (FLI) is a nonprofit that works on maximising the benefits of technology and on mitigating its associated risks. In our current engagement with the EU institutions, FLI has two key priorities: i) promoting the beneficial development of artificial intelligence, ii) regulating lethal autonomous weapons.

ii) The total budget indicated is for the Future of Life Institute globally, of which our EU activities are a small part. When the aforementioned valuation has been completed, the budget will be revised to reflect the additional donation.
