Climate, energy and sustainability policy related initiatives are continuously followed at INEOS. This concerns inter alia relevant EU legislation, roadmaps, impact assessments and responses to consultations regarding emissions, energy, water, waste, resources, products, plastics, etc. from a policy, innovation, sustainability and advocacy perspective, framed by the European 2030 and 2050 strategies and ESG framework. The latter includes core areas for the chemical industry, such as SHE and REACH, next to social responsibilities (workforce, compliance, due diligence, etc.) and Group governance. This is in addition to any policy with impact on chemical industry strategies, competitiveness and global level playing fields.
