Goals / Remit
To provide advice and attend meetings concerning preparation of EU policies and legislation and implementation of legislation, control and enforcement - in particular with regard to EU fisheries and environmental issues as well as animal welfare (fish). Special in depth knowledge about recreational fisheries in Europe and globally. Contracted by the European Anglers Alliance and the European Fishing Tackle Trade Association since September 2001.

The Forum establishes contact and communication between MEPs and their 25 million angling constituents. It serves as a forum for discussion of issues on or related to the European Parliament agenda concerning recreational fishing, biodiversity, invasive species, the Water Framework Directive, ecosystem services, rural development, fishing tourism and other relevant issues;
The Forum gives MEPs access to EAA and EFTTA in-house experts and a broad network of experts and scientists.
