There is one full time member of staff based in Brussels looking solely at European issues. Although, at any given time this may change with policy, regulation, legal and compliance teams feeding in to, interpreting or implementing EU policy. However they would also be looking at issues at a local, regional and national level.
Between the summer of 2015 and the summer of 2017, our Chief Executive, Alistair Phillips-Davies is Vice-President of the European electricity industry trade association - Eurelectric - which has significant engagement with EU stakeholders. However, the role is to provide commercial and strategic direction to the organisation rather than engage with EU stakeholders directly.Person in charge of EU relations
