In Brussels there are two individuals working 100% on European Affairs (they are the ones listed under 100%).
Additionally, there are many employees of BSH that get into contact with EU policy and/or legislative issues.
In most of the cases these persons receive information about future legislation and/or collect information needed in the Brussels Bureau or demanded by commission services (such as in public consultations).
Some of these persons are explicitly consulted to draft positions and are thus working in a field covered by the register. The related workload of these persons is however a small fraction of their yearly workload. Thus these persons (de minimis 20% yearly work on register related matters) are not included in the calculation above.Person in charge of EU relations

As a company operating worldwide, we represent our interests and opinions in national, European and international industry associations and through direct contacts with policy makers. Over and above that, we play an active part internationally in bodies devoted to technical regulations and standardisation. Current topics of our work in associations include not only revising the European Energylabel or the Circular Economy, but also introducing standards for product safety and usability. Our contribution to political and social opinion-making is constructive and responsible. To ensure that our activities in this area comply with our values and principles, all employees who represent BSH’s interests towards stakeholder groups must first complete compliance training.
BSH is in Europe a member of some 300 organizations or associations, either directly or through its staff, ranging from national industry association to memberships in regional industry chambers.Member organisations
