BSH Hausgeräte GmbH is the leading home appliance manufacturer in Europe.
We are home to globally established Appliance Brands, such as Bosch, Siemens, Gaggenau and Neff, in addition to seven local brands. With our Ecosystem Brand Home Connect and Service Brands such as Kitchen Stories and BlueMovement, we offer consumers digital services and sustainable solutions to improve their daily lives.
Founded in Germany in 1967 as a joint venture of Robert Bosch GmbH and Siemens AG , BSH has been 100% owned by the Bosch Group since January 2015. With around 60,000 employees worldwide, 39 factories, many of which in EU, we have reached a turnover in 2020 of around 13.9 billion euros.
Our product portfolio ranges from large home appliances – such as cooktops, ovens, extractor hoods, dishwashers, washers, dryers, fridges, and freezers – to small home appliances, such as vacuum cleaners, espresso machines or small kitchen appliances.

These FTE figures are as required most up-to-date based on the average workload of 2021 personnel cost considered in section 14 are based on costs from 2020 as the last closed financial year.
BSH has several employees that only get occasionally into contact with EU policy and/or legislative issues.
We have included anyone who may work 5% yearly or more on activities covered by the register. To be on the save side we took into account with the full 5% anyone who may contribute up to 5% but usually stays below that limit. These are added up and rounded to the 10% steps offered above by the register.
In view of the guidelines we consider work covered by the register when the persons
- are actively representing BSH interests vis-à-vis EU institutions
- are actively working in APPLiA working groups, as APPLiA is our main EU lobbying association
