Goals / Remit
HelpAge helps older people claim their rights, challenge discrimination and overcome poverty, so that they can lead dignified, secure, active and healthy lives.
In the past year, 750,000 older people and their families accessed our health, emergency and finance related services on 1.4 million occasions. We helped two million older people claim their first pension payment - or receive an increased sum, and supported 50,000 older people to fight abuse and discrimination cases.
We work to address the following issues that affect older people worldwide: Climate Change, Emergencies, Health, HIV/AIDS, Rights, Social Protection, Work and the Post-2015 debate.Main EU files targeted
