Goals / Remit
In a sustainable and economically viable way recycle plastic waste into synthetic alternative transport fuels such as diesel, gasoline and kerosene.
The process is called TAC (thermal anaerobic conversion) and we work with Cynar Plc's technology.
We have the technology licenses and our business is to find locations near plastic waste supply, where we can finance, build and operate these plants. the plants have to generate a return to the investors and has the benefit of reducing the quantity of plastics that are landfilled or incinerated, produce a national liquid fuel and create investment+employment.
In summary, (one plant):
Investment: €13-15 million
employment creation: 25 FTE
Plastic waste consumption per day: 20 tons
Fuel production: 90% of plastic weight, i.e. 18 thousand liters
GHGindex per liter of fuel: 69 (varies by location)Main EU files targeted
