Goals / Remit
The task of ECEG is to deal on behalf of the European Chemical Industry with Social Affairs on the EU level. The main area of activities is representing the Chemical Industry in the Sector Social Dialogue Committee Chemical Industry. The direct lobby activities are very limited.

- Social Partners project "European Chemical Sector Social Partners Roadmap 2015-2020"
Main objectives:
• Evaluation & follow-up of our "European Framework Agreement on Competence Profiles ". A joint evaluation of the implementation of the agreement will be carried out to help social partners assess the impact of the agreement on the national level. The results of this assessment will define out future actions.
• Assessment of 10 years of SSDC in the European Chemical Industry & devising jointly a framework of actions (roadmap) for the period 2015-2020, on a series of issues to be determined in the first phase (including measurable targets, implementation, monitoring & follow up phases).
